Scion is planning to officially unveil their new tC Release Series 5.0 tomorrow at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show one year after the tC RS 4.0 made its debut. This limited edition model is priced $2,300 more than the basic manual tC and the automatic transmission edition is priced at $17,800. The car will come with a gloss black body paint finish and will have a variety of performance packs available from TRD (Toyota Racing Development) including 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels in a matte black with red trim finish. Only 2,000 units of the tC RS 5.0 will be available.
