
G-Power, a German tuning outfit based near Munich, has transformed the BMW X5 into the new Typhoon. The kit features an aggressive styling kit and the addition of a new supercharger. The 4.8L V8 engine had been modified with new fuel injectors and a belt-driven ASA T1-521 hd supercharger improving the horsepower from 355hp to 525 hp. G-Power has also placed a two-piece carbon fiber intake manifold, aluminum intercooler and a stainless steel G-Power high performance exhaust with racing catalysts. The body kit features a front apron with large air intakes and stylish fender flares that provide the room necessary for the Silverstone Forged Edition wheels. The rear features a diffuser, new rear apron, two center-mounted tailpipes.
