GM’s first serious attempt at a compact car worth buying.
But, sharp as it looks, we all know small cars just look better as hatchbacks. Somehow, the rear glass always takes a vanilla-looking sedan and adds a hint of spice. You never find yourself wondering if the sedan version is packing turbochargers and a sport suspension. But the hatch…you have to hope.
So they built a Cruze hatch. And it looks hot. And we won’t get it.
The five-door hatchback is officially a “show car,” something more than a concept but still not yet a production car. It will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in a few weeks’ time.
But all we’ll get are the pictures. Nice, ain’t it?
