Check out how hip-hop megastars like Pharrell Williams, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West have spent their riches on their cribs.
N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell Williams’ $14-million Miami penthouse features colorful décor and owns a painting of “Family Guy” character Stewie, as well as oversized cartoon figures and a Perspective chair (which he designed) with human-like legs, toes, and all. But these are just the accessories. It also features an arrowhead-shaped pool, spiral staircase, and view of the coastal shore.
Mr. West also enjoys cartoon elements in his $4-million Hollywood apartment that he put up for sale last spring
The room photographed is lined with “Jetsons” art has a lot of remote-controlled features. He even had the dining room ceiling painted with a depiction of himself as an angel.
Diddy is a bit more serious when it comes to his décor and opted for a sleeker feel for a lounging area of his newest New York City property that was designed by Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz and has not of neutral colors like silver, smoke, cream, and glass, with mirrored tables and vases all about.
Lil Wayne is the most conservative out of them all, which is very different from his animated persona. Similar to Diddy, he chose a light color palette in one of the rooms in his $14-million home in La Gorce Island, Miami Beach. He even has a wall lined with floor-to-ceiling windows.
