The 2012 Spring Festival of LXs saw the introduction of Dodge’s new Challenger Rallye Redline that will go on sale next month for $28,745 (excluding a $925 destination charge). The new edition is based on the Challenger SXT Plus, but has a few additions to distinguish it like a full-length body stripe, real spoiler, sport-tuned suspension, high-performance brakes, a revised rear axle ratio and a set of 20-inch alloy wheels that have red accents. Under the hood is a 3.6-liter V6 engine powers the special edition Challenger, producing 305 hp. Interior modifications include leather sport seats, a thick-rimmed steering wheel and a Mopar shift handle, as well as an automatic climate control and a Boston Acoustics audio system.
