RECAP: 2012 DUB SHOW – DALLAS

RECAP: 2012 DUB SHOW - DALLAS

The state of Texas was buzzing weeks before the 2012 DUB Show Tour landed in one of our favorite Southern cities, Dallas, on Sunday, May 20, 2012! And as predicted, the Dallas Convention Center was filled with some of the hottest rides in the state and beyond. It was our biggest event ever in Dallas with more than 25,000 in attendance!

And the crowd wasn’t the only thing that came out in numbers, as the cars took up practically all the room in the Convention Center. We were full from wall-to-wall with more than 700 custom rides on display. It was definitely a record for our Dallas stops. The show was so big that even a few members from car clubs in Southern California (Nokturnal, Swift, Xplizit and Techniques) made the trip to compete with some of Texas’ finest. But no doubt, Dallas came out strong, making the competition pretty fierce for all the judges. The “Best Car Club” award went to Swift, who showed up with more than 70 rides, while “Best of Show” was given to the crazy and highly customized “Massive Destruction” Lincoln Navigator from Nokturnal Car Club. “Best Lowrider” was awarded to Juan P. Sifuentes from Brown Impressions Car Club, while Branded Customs took home “Best Retail Shop” for their show-stopping fleet of vehicles. Read on and see the full gallery at dubmagazine.com!
