Monster Energy congratulates its team for yet another amazing performance at X Games Los Angeles 2012 last weekend. All in, the team earned an impressive 13 medals across four sports (Skateboarding, BMX, Moto, and Rally) throughout the four-day event in Downtown LA this past weekend. Nyjah Huston was the only skateboarder to take two medals at X. He had a Gold medal finish in the unique Real Street event, and also earned a Bronze in Skateboarding Street, while Jamie Bestwick made history by taking a record sixth-straight gold in BMX Vert. Pierre Luc Gagnon (PLG) reclaimed the Gold medal in Skateboarding Vert, narrowly taking the win in a tight final and Dakota Roche earned the Bronze in BMX Street, while Monster Energy dominated the podium in BMX Park, with Scotty Cranmer taking the Gold by leading from the start, and young-buck Pat Casey earning the Bronze in his first X Games finals appearance. Taka Higashino earned two medals at X and Nate Adams had a historic weekend at X, taking the silver in Moto X Speed and Style and with this tied for the most decorated X Games moto competitor (13 medals along side Travis Pastrana). In Moto X Best Whip, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg defended his gold from last year, while Ken Block put a final highlight on the weekend for Monster Energy by taking Silver in Rallycross Racing, his first medal in the event and fourth overall at X.
