Ford’s 2013 Fusion will go on sale this fall, starting at $22,495 with the entry-level front-wheel drive Fusion S. Powering it is a 4-cylinder 2.5-liter engine that produces 170 hp and will come standard with with Sync with MyFord, 16-inch steel wheels, a tilting and telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, audio input jack, LED taillights, 60/40 split-folding rear seats and keyless entry. For those who want more is the Fusion SE ($24,495) that adds 17-inch alloys, 10-way power driver’s seat and a six-speaker sound system with satellite radio, which can be ordered with a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine that pushes out 179 hp mated to either six-speed manual or the optional six-speed automatic gearbox for an extra $795. There’s also the larger 2.0-liter EcoBoost with 237 hp available with a six-speed automatic transmission, which starts from $26,745. For those that want the hybrid (powered by four-cylinder, Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter engine paired with an electric motor and CVT transmission) version starting at $27,995 they’ll get features offered by the SE trim, along with hybrid-specific 17-inch alloys
