Yamaha engineers made only one addition to the 2013 Yamaha YFZ-R1 super bike after adding a new traction control system to the design last year: color options. It’s now available in Matte Gray, Rapid Red and Raven, as well as the familiar Team Yamaha Blue and White. Still powering the super bike is a 998cc, liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine, with the transmission the same 6-speed multi-plate slipper clutch, even the seat is the same. It’ll retail for $14,290 to $14,490 and will be available at showrooms this month.
