McLaren Automotive has released some info on its P1 Concept car that will be the successor to its F1 super car that set the 1998 world record as the fastest road-going car at 231 mph. No exact details on its powertrain were provided yet, but early reports did indicated that it might have a 3.8-liter V8 with a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) for a total output of 963 ponies, which translates to a 0-62 mph time and a top speed of 239 mph. It’ll officially be unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show next week.
