UPDATED: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 45th Anniversary Edition

Mercedes-Benz has announced that they’ve prepared a special 45th anniversary edition of the SLS AMG GT3. The special edition is limited to only five units and wears an exclusive matt paintwork, this special model rides on AMG light alloys in designo magno graphite. It uses carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) for the doors, rear trunk, hood, mudguards, front/rear bumpers, rear wings, rear diffuser and front splitter. Inside, there is a steel roll-over cage that has the same finish as the exterior, while the center console and the dashboard feature a similar matt carbon fiber appearance. Powering the special edition is the same AMG V8 6.3-liter engine that enables the race car to go from the 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds. Full gallery after the jump!
