2013 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG Debuts at 2012 LA Auto Show

Mercedes-Benz debuted its 2013 GL63 AMG at the 2012 LA Auto Show this week, which is designed to be one of the fastest seven-seat crossovers around. Pricing will start at $116,925, with the new AMG sporting an aggressive front fascia, LED daytime running lights and 21-inch alloy wheels. There’s also a unique rear bumper and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. Under the hood is a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that develops 550 bhp and is connected to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission and a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The AMG can go form 0-62 mph in 4.9 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 174 mph.
