Here’s a look at the Acura NSX Concept currently being shown at NAIAS. According to Honda, the cabin offers great visibility and a “strong driving position”. It boasts a “Simple Sports Interface” which minimizes interior clutter allowing the person behind the wheel to focus on what is important: driving.
The production version is set to get a direct-injected, mid-mounted V6 engine working together with Honda’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) system, a new dual clutch transmission featuring a built-in high-efficiency motor, and two electric motors driving the front wheels independently.
Production is set for 2015 and the Acura NSX will be manufactured at a new facility in Ohio and will cost more than a Nissan GT-R.
