Rolls Royce says “Smoke rings are so 2000 and late. We blowin’ Spirits of Ecstasy. Boom boom pow!” Rolls didn’t really say that, but this is however a teaser image for the Wraith which will be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The luxury automaker promises the Wraith “will draw superlatives when it is unveiled in Geneva,” ultimately representing the “most dynamic, powerful and beautiful Rolls-Royce in the company’s history.”
The last time the Wraith was produced was 1938 – 1939 and featured a 4257 cc straight-six engine and four-speed gearbox. It’s rumored that the new one will be the coupe version of the top-selling Rolls-Royce Ghost. First deliveries are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2013. Check back soon for more details.
