2011 DUB Show: Charlotte Recap

The 2011 DUB Show Tour landed in Charlotte on Saturday, May 14th and took over the Charlotte Convention Center from 3-9 PM with a massive car show and concert. Visitors feasted their eyes on the hottest custom cars, trucks, SUV and motorcycles—essentially, the DUB lifestyle at its best!

The Rim Shop killed with their jaw-dropping lin--up of cars. Not only did they have the largest booth at the show, but they also took home the crown for “Best Booth.” Auto Extremes went home with the “Best Retail Shop” trophy for their impressive fleetof customs. Sony’s interactive display really had the crowd entertained with all that they had going on, such as The Green Hornet's “Black Beauty” plus PS3 gaming stations, in addition to cool giveaways.

UFC Bantamweight fighter Brain Bowles signed autographs and took pictures with fans at UFC’s booth, while the Monster Energy Zone was the place to chill out, get free beverage samples and see some cool insane B-Boy and MC battles and their Monster Show cars and bikes.

The Charlotte concert stage was thumping with bass, as artists like Juve, Hillsideboyz, Rebel King, Idtycoon, King Carter and Bettie Grind. While Kia Shine, Ace Hood, Young Joc, Waka Flocka came out to close and killed it!
