DUB Show LIVE! at 2011 SEMA Show

The annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas is a Mecca of the automotive aftermarket, the starting point of new automotive trends and an inspiration for future innovation. Every year, thousands of people converge in Las Vegas to check out the thousands of custom vehicles and new product debuts that flood the halls and grounds of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
This year the outside exhibitor areas were as popular as displays inside of the convention center due to the great weather (except the last day) and the high level of outdoor exhibits for show goers to visit. DUB Show Tour Sponsors Monster Energy, Ford, Pirelli, Sony, UFC, Mobil 1, Kinetik, and NBA 2K12 brought out the heat with their mobile interactive displays and custom vehicles. DUB Show LIVE! also featured packed displays from 2Crave, Asanti and Lexani Wheels, Rennen Wheels, Forgiato, Galpin Auto Sports, Kelderman, MHT Luxury Alloys, Rhino Linings, Optima Batteries, Oracle Lights, Jonari, Pioneer DJ, and the debut of DUB Garage in collaboration with American Tire Distributors.
The centerpiece of our DUB Show LIVE! display was the Luxury4Play X Platinum Motorsports matte-white Bugatti Veyron, which was also the talk of SEMA. Forgiato brought out their display rig that showcased all their new wheel offerings, as well as Lexani/Asanti with their luxury line of wheels, accessories and bespoke executive vehicles.
World Famous Galpin Auto Sports showcased one of their rigs and was yet another highlight of the show with their collection of custom and exotic G.A.S created vehicles. Rhino Linings showed off their huge “Rhino Lined” International MXT, which had people touching the finish whenever they had a chance.

The always-popular Monster Energy Zone with the Monster Energy girls and DUB Edition Monster Energy drink caused huge lines throughout the week! Also on display at the Monster Energy Zone were Rampage Jackson’s newly customized Muscle Pharm green Lamborghini Murcielago and custom Monster Energy Dodge Charger on Savini Wheels.
TS Designs invaded SEMA with more than a dozen of their latest “widebody” creations at DUB Show LIVE and throughout the entire convention center. Pioneer kept the mood upbeat and provided live DJing with their Scion tC all week for everyone to enjoy.
One of the things that make the final stop of the DUB Show Tour in Las Vegas so unique is that it brings vehicles from all over the country all together in one place. Some of the highlights included MMA fighter Josh Barnnet’s Dodge Challenger and customized rides from Cincinnati’s Spade Kreations, Philly’s Killer Kreations, Miami’s Bowtie South, KAO Autostyling from Las Vegas and several chapters of Swift and Nokturnal were in attendance. Technique CC’s Joey Hernandez and Albert and Mario from Elite CC represented Cali lowriding with their top-level Lowriders.
The show also encompasses custom vehicles from all genres - from Lowrider and imports, exotics to muscle cars, bikes and big lifted trucks. DUB Show LIVE! had something for everyone.
Another big debut for this year’s SEMA show included the return of the Dropstars and TIS Wheel collections, as well as the launch of DubGarage.com with American Tire Distributors who also unveiled a new must have with the unveiling of Monster Energy Edition off-road wheels!
One lucky Ford enthusiast was also given the chance to get his 2012 Focus customized by the DUB Garage team in collaboration with Saticoy Customs. But the catch was he had to drop everything else for this once in a lifetime offer. With an amazing opportunity on the table, Edgar Zaragoza quickly jumped at the possibility to dress up his ride, which was then unveiled to him at the 2011 SEMA Show. It was a full-blown custom build made possible by Eibach Springs, Borla, Ultrasuede, Pirelli, TIS Modular, Sony and House of Kolors. Check out the webisodes at youtube.com/dub where we get more in-depth with the entire customization process!
And like every year, the 2011 Monster Energy DUB Expo Powered by Pirelli with the DUB Awards Presented by Mobil 1 was the most highly anticipated party for the week. Hosted by comedian, actor and DUB Magazine cover star, Kevin Hart, the event was held on the evening of November 2 at Vanity Nightclub inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Big Snoop Dogg headlined and capped off the 2011 DUB Expo with a performance of a few of his greatest hits.
