RECAP: 2012 DUB Show - Philadelphia

The 2012 DUB Show Tour is well underway, and our second stop for the year was visiting the City of Brotherly Love for this year’s Philadelphia Auto Show. While the Auto Show went on from Saturday, Jan. 28 to Tuesday, Feb. 5, the DUB Show Tour provided loads of excitement at the Philadelphia Convention Center for showgoers throughout the weekend with all of our custom cars on display, interactive booths and celebrity meet and greets!
This year, the weather for the Show was amazing given last year provided a bit too much snow, so attendance really increased from last year’s Philly stop. Our area received non-stop traffic all weekend and fans were totally stoked to check out Pauly D’s custom cycle by Killer Kreations that was on the cover of Issue 76 up close in personal. Speaking of bikes, the 2012 Custom Bike Shoot Out Presented by Harley-Davidson was a huge hit with visitors given it showcased the hottest customized Harley-Davidson bikes from around the nation. The sickest bike for the Philly show and winner of the 2012 Custom Bike Shoot Out Presented by Harley-Davidson was Sean Nickson who went home with a set of Pirelli Night Dragon Tires.
But besides showcasing some of the world’s hottest custom rides, we also brought out UFC Fighter Nick “The New Jersey Devil” Catone to catch up with fans at the UFC Booth inside the Harley-Davidson Area. Of course, no DUB Show Tour stop would be complete without the beautiful Pirelli girls that caused a stir in Pirelli’s Lounge as everyone wanted pictures with the beauties. The Monster Energy Zone was the place to chill and scope out some dope MC and B-Boy battles, while checking out the coolest Monster Show cars and bikes.
Philly’s own Killer Kreations was also representing his artistic skills with all the vehicles he’s perfected. Pioneer’s booth provided the latest and greatest in their sound offerings, while Highend Vine Street Car Stereo also had some bumping sound systems. Other booth favorites included: United Auto Accessories, Evolution Performance, Image Audio, 215 Motoring, Point of View, Shades of Gray, Sound Tri State, Tricked Out Cycles, Metro PCS and Elite Epoxy.
Thanks to everybody who showed up to enjoy the Philly DUB Show Tour stop! But a huge shout out to our sponsors for making the stop possible: Monster Energy, Pirelli, Harley Davidson, UFC, Mobil 1 Kawasaki, “The DUB Magazine Project,” TIS, Dropstars, Monster Energy Edition Off-Road Wheels, MOTIV and Gear.
