Despite what many might think, this wasn’t the way reality TV star Brody Jenner’s story began. Yes, he is the son of Olympic decathlon champion Bruce Jenner and actress Linda Thompson, is Kim Kardashian’s step-brother and does live in Malibu, 24-year-old Jenner isn’t just famous for the sake of being famous; he’s had to actually work to obtain the notoriety he now has today. Oh, and to all who think he’s just another rich kid-turned-celebrity, here’s what he has to say to you: “F*uck you!” he proclaims, waving the bird. “They have no idea how I worked my ass off to get here. Nobody came up to me and said, ‘Hey, let me film you.’ Spencer Pratt [his best friend] and I worked our asses off for a year.”

With passion in his eyes, Jenner tells the true story of his rise to fame. “My buddy Spencer got me into the whole reality thing. I used to throw the biggest parties and film them, that’s how the whole ‘Princes of Malibu’ show on Fox came about.” While the series was cancelled after two episodes; that’s all it took for Jenner’s career to take off. Now, he’s currently featured in the MTV reality show “The Hills”, as the star Lauren Conrad’s boyfriend. “It’s cool and fun; the girls are also hot. A job is always worth doing if you’re having fun.”

But that’s just one of the many ventures Jenner is having fun with. Besides his budding acting career, Jenner is currently trying his hand at various projects, dealing with being behind the camera. “I enjoy producing as much as being in front of the camera,” he says. “I’m currently working on a new TV show that is something like ‘To Catch a Predator’. It’s amazing!” He and his friends are also the go-to team for new ideas. “We’re all about the business,” he says. “There’s no idea that we wouldn’t do if it will make money. Look at 50 Cent, who invested in vitamin water.”

The biggest investment Jenner is excited about is his collaboration with friend Jared Najjar on their Archangel jewelry/clothing line. First started by Najjar and Taylor Mosher in 2006, Jenner got on board after being a fan of the line. “We loved sterling silver stuff, and we decided to design our own pieces,” 25-year-old Najjar says. “We started wearing our designs out, and people kept asking about the pieces, so we started selling it at one boutique in L.A.—and now we’re in 10 boutiques. We’re all really stoked about it and are expanding it to a full clothing and accessories line this year.” According to Jenner, Archangel is a bit rock ’n’ roll-ish with a bit of gothic thrown in. “It’s an elegant rock ’n’ roll,” he says.
