Tyga
Not everybody is lucky enough to possess the magical touch of success that’s known as the “Midas Touch.” The famous King Midas of Greek Mythology was blessed with (or possibly cursed with) the ability to turn anything he touched into gold. Such is the case with rising rap star Tyga. The young lyricist from Lil Wayne’s YMCMB posse has obtained the kind of success every aspiring rapper dreams of. But Tyga’s golden touch isn’t all about his career.
Three 6 Mafia
It’s been a long journey in hip-hop for Juicy J and DJ Paul as members of the iconic hip-hop group, Three 6 Mafia. With more than 20 years in the industry, the duo might be veterans in the genre, but they’re still as hungry as any up-and-coming artist. The Academy Award-winning duo may have had numerous lineup changes throughout the years (at its most, there were seven members), but OG members Juicy J and DJ Paul are makin’ big moves with just them two.
Ryan Villopoto
There are some athletes who are born to win and others who work hard for their victories. Then you have motocross/supercross champion Ryan Villopoto, whose accolades are a result of both. For the Washington state native racing isn’t just a career—it’s his life. The athlete competes to win and only win, which is why he’s at the top of his sport. Last year, the 23-year-old won the FIM World Supercross Championship, AMA Motocross Championship, Motocross of Nations Championship and the inaugural Monster Energy Cup, which was one of the most accomplished seasons in history for a rider.
Jeff "Ox" Kargola
As an action sports athlete, Jeff “Ox” Kargola was a monster on both two and four wheels. The 27-year-old from San Clemente, CA and member of the Metal Mulisha FMX team was on his way to becoming a legendary name in the sport, but was unfortunately taken away by the thing he loved most. On April 29, 2011, Jeff “Ox” Kargola passed away on the second day of the grueling eight-day and 1,376-mile Desert Assassins’ Monster Energy “Rip to the Tip” motorcross event in Baja, CA.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
Ronnie may not be one of the more conspicuous members of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” but that’s all about to change now that he’s embarked on a new journey in L.A. Still heavily interested in being a part of the “Jersey Shore” family for as long as it runs, he’s now turning his focus to pursuing an acting career and growing his side projects, which include Ron-Ron Juice and his Jersey Laundry T-shirt line.
Unique Situation
Now in it’s fourth season, MTV’s hit reality show, “Jersey Shore,” has become a cultural phenomenon, and its stars have skyrocketed to celebrity status. Known for his chiseled abs, smooth skills with the ladies and flamboyant charisma, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has become a household name thanks to being one of the prominent cast members of the show. And thanks to his rising fame and popularity “Jersey Shore” has afforded him, Mike has been staying very busy these days not only with the show, but with his many endorsements and even his own company. “Blessed to be busy these days” has also allowed him to acquire quite an impressive collection of whips, including his childhood dream cars.
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson
Shooting the sh*t is always fun with Quinton Jackson. He’s a funny ass guy and always jokes around with us when we stop by—making him one of our fave celebs to visit. Getting ready for his upcoming bout against Matt Hamill for UFC 130, the light heavyweight fighter provided us with a glimpse into what it’s like leading up to the Octagon and the split personality he shares with “Rampage,” which we came pretty close to encountering. Oh, and we checked out his collection of rides, too!
Shaquille O'Neal
Always a force to be reckoned with on the court, Shaq announced his retirement from basketball back in June after 19 seasons in the game. Walking away with four rings, 28,596 career points and a slew of other accomplishments, the 39-year-old Shaq "Diesel” won’t be too far from the action. A month after he announced his retirement, he revealed plans to work at Turner Sports as a full-time analyst, joining Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley as part of TNT’s “Inside the NBA” studio show.
Amber Rose
Amber Rose is a modern-day sketch of the classic, post-WWII era pin-up girls – beautiful, curvaceous and oozing with sex appeal! And just like famous pin-ups Bettie Page, Marilyn Monroe and Betty Grable, Amber has joined their ranks to become a bona fide sex symbol.
The Hundreds
A simple Google search of The Hundreds will instantly tell you of the streetwear clothing brand's success. Simply put, they're HUGE! Ben and Bobby Hundreds have not only created a brand, but a culture that defies the trends and thrives on uniqueness.
Ken Block
Some guys have all the luck…DC Shoes founder/Rally Racer/Gymkhana king being one of them! Not only does he have the coolest job in the world, racing rally cars and busting moves in his Gymkhana videos, but he's now able to put gaming consultant on his already very impressive resume. Creating his Gymkhana videos for pure personal enjoyment has now propelled him and the driving style into the video game realm with DiRT 3.
Game
What you see is what you get fits Game perfectly. There's no faking anything in his life and he openly admits it. "It might be stubborn, but I do me and live by my own ledger," he asserts. "I think that's what made me who I am, man."
Dying his hair red a day before shooting his "Red Nation" video with Weezy produced by Cool & Dre, the first single from of his forthcoming R.E.D. album dropping in August, Game doesn't give a "f*ck" if the people are going to like it or not.
