NIKE, with almost four decades of innovation takes its creative design direction for the Spring/Summer 2009 NIKE Sportswear line from the 20th anniversary of NIKE ACG (ACG means All Conditions Gear, and all conditions means all conditions; delivering the highest level of performance for every environment in every situation in activity and in life, from the mountains to the metropolis).
ACG celebrates a rare breed of athlete, one who looks within for competition and one whose passion for the environment rivals their passion for play and has Paul Gasol of the L.A. Lakers modeling it's new line. The ACG product line is a testament to the “we can do better” rally cry that started it all in ’89.
The Spring/Summer 2009 line continues NIKE’s tradition of long sports heritage, innovation and technology. It builds around eight NIKE icons: The Air Force 1, the Windrunner, AW 77 Hoody, the Nike Dunk, Air Max 90, Eugene Track Jacket, the Cortez and Nike Sportswear Tee.
