Hennessey Unleashes the H850, a Supercharged Escalade-V Monster

Texas-based tuner Hennessey has unleashed a beast with their new H850 upgrade package for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V. Their engineers completely reworked the hand-built 6.2-liter supercharged V8, pushing horsepower up a staggering 25% to 850 bhp at 6,200 rpm. Torque sees an even greater increase of 31%, reaching a mighty 855 lb-ft at 4,600 rpm. These modifications make the H850 Escalade-V a contender for the quickest and most powerful full-size SUV available.

The power surge comes courtesy of a comprehensive overhaul by Hennessey’s engineering team. Upgrades include a new air intake system, a ported supercharger for increased airflow, high-flow cylinder heads for better performance, and a custom camshaft to optimize power delivery. An upgraded throttle body allows for more precise control, while new intake and exhaust valves ensure optimal breathing for the engine. To ensure everything works together seamlessly, Hennessey incorporates their HPE engine management calibration, a product of extensive research and development.

For those who want to complement the monstrous power with an equally aggressive look, Hennessey offers optional 22-inch performance wheels in gloss black or polished silver. The H850’s dominance isn’t just theoretical – Hennessey put it to the test against a stock 2024 RAM TRX, the current king of performance trucks. The TRX boasts a respectable 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, but the H850 Escalade-V easily left it in the dust, finishing the race several truck lengths ahead.
