Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster Is A Track-Focused Droptop Hypercar

Hennessey decided that their already impressive Venom F5 hypercar still needed more upgrades so they went to work and came out with a new beast! Meet the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster, which has been revamped from its Coupe counterpart, all in the name of taking on the road and track like a pro. They’ve pumped up the agility, kept the handling uncompromised, and cranked up the downforce to epic levels.

And they’ve thrown in a bunch of track-ready upgrades. Think massive front and rear splitters that’ll make your jaw drop, dive planes on the front like they’re about to take flight, and a rear wing that’s unmistakably boss. And that’s not all – the suspension got a makeover, the wheels got a facelift, and they even added digital track telemetry for that next-level control. The Revolution Roadster rocks this high-mounted central air scoop, the same cool move they pulled from the Revolution Coupe. It’s all about that fresh breeze hitting the F5’s engine bay like a blast of energy—the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster is a ride about pushing boundaries and bringing the heat.

The F5 Revolution Roadster is doing things a bit differently from its Coupe sibling. They’ve switched up the roof game, swapping it for a slick removable panel made of super tough carbon fiber. This ain’t your regular rooftop – it’s a single piece that’s totally insulated against whatever Mother Nature throws your way. And get this: it’s got a soft Alcantara lining that’s like a cozy hug for your ride. They’ve rigged it up with four quick-release bolts and a couple of high-strength latches, all ready to handle the insane power and speed this hypercar’s packing. Now here’s the cool part: this roof panel is as light as a feather. Weighing in at just 18 lbs. (that’s like 8 kg), it’s a breeze for one person to pop off and put back on. It’s like changing your ride’s style with the flick of a wrist.

So, just like the rest of the Venom F5 crew, this bad boy’s got a mid-mounted engine that’s chilling in a carbon-fiber chassis. And this isn’t your average engine – it’s Hennessey’s legendary twin-turbo 6.6-liter ‘Fury’ V8, and it’s packing a jaw-dropping 1,817 bhp. Yeah, you heard that right – this thing’s a powerhouse. Now, here’s the cool part: the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster is keeping things spicy with a slick tempered glass engine window. It’s like a VIP ticket to witness that beast of an engine in action. And this ain’t your regular glass – it’s about four times stronger than the usual stuff.

But they didn’t stop there. The glass is snugly wrapped up in a removable carbon fiber engine cover with these fancy heat extraction holes, matching the ones in the back bumper. It’s all about keeping things cool while you’re burning rubber.

Only 12 units of the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster will be made available and Hennessey has already sold all of them for $3 million each.
