In 2008, BorromeodeSilva’s founder, Carlo Burromeo, embarked on a transformative journey across the United States and then from New York City to Buenos Aires in his 1968 Mustang fastback. This expedition left an enduring mark on him, inspiring the creation of the Mustang restomod concept showcased here. Collaborating with workshops in both the US and EU, the STL-1 will feature an entirely new steel body, specifically engineered to accommodate an open-top design and conquer off-road trails. With independent front and rear suspension, complete with tubular control arms and high-performance coilover dampers, the STL-1 boasts capabilities far beyond those of the original Mustang.
